From the perspective of 5G base station construction, from 2018 to 2021, a total of 142.5 5G base stations were built. The national construction target is expected to be raised to more than 600,000 in 2022, and the total number of base stations will reach 2 million yuan by the end of 2022.
At present, many provincial governments across the country have issued a notice of the 2022 Action Plan on 5G Leading the Development and Expansion of the Digital Economy, setting the specific goal of completing the construction of 5G base stations by the end of 2023 in advance of the 14th Five-Year Plan. With the support of the policy, the construction of 5G base stations in all provinces will be significantly accelerated. The largest scale of 5G construction will be realized in 2022.
Statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show that 3.521 million new energy vehicles were sold in 2021, up 1.6 times year on year, ranking first in the world for seven consecutive years. Output is also amazing, the domestic production of new energy vehicles in 2021 reached 3.545 million units, market share reached 13.4%, 8 percentage points higher than last year.
Under the background of the upsurge of 5G base station construction and the booming production and sales of new energy vehicles, the demand for high-end circuit boards has surged, and domestic circuit board manufacturers have expanded the high-end market capacity.
Since the beginning of 2022, the leading enterprises of the board factory, small and medium-sized enterprises high-end circuit board capacity expansion projects or strategic cooperation continue to emerge, so that 5G, semiconductors, new energy vehicles into a hot track, the track market players compete for each other, the competition is increasingly fierce.
According to the incomplete statistics of PCB of Weike network, just two months after the opening of 2022, there are 17 domestic circuit board projects started, the total investment amount is more than 34.9 billion yuan, and the expansion scale is more than 8.95 million square meters/year.
