The 13th Paralympic Winter Games (XIII Paralympic Winter Games), referred to as the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games, is an international Paralympic Games hosted by China. It will open on March 4, 2022 and close on March 13, 2022.


The 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games will consist of 6 major events and 78 minor events. A total of 736 athletes from 48 countries and regions participated in the competition. The Beijing Division will host all ice sports, while the Yanqing Division and Zhangjiakou Division will host all snow sports.

On July 31, 2015, Thomas Bach announced that Beijing will be the host city for the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics. After Beijing’s successful bid, Beijing became the first city in Paralympic history to host the Summer Paralympic Games and the Winter Paralympic Games. At 20:22 on December 15, 2017, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics emblem “Winter Dream” and the Winter Paralympic emblem “Leaping” were officially unveiled. On the evening of March 18, 2018, Beijing Mayor Chen Jining received the Paralympic flag at the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium, marking the entry of the Winter Paralympic Games into the “Beijing Cycle”. On August 4, 2018, the Action Plan for Overseas Chinese in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics was released in Beijing. On September 17, 2019, the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics mascot “Xue Rongrong” was officially released. On May 8, 2020, the Beijing Paralympic Games color system and core graphics were officially released. On September 6, on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the opening of the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, the Beijing Winter Paralympic Games emblem was revised to match the new logo of the International Paralympic Committee. In March 2021, with the approval of the International Paralympic Committee, the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee released the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics V2.3 version of the unit competition schedule. On the evening of December 31, 2021, the awarding elements of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics were officially released.
